Majd Barsoom is a dedicated and caring Optometrist who is passionate about helping patients achieve their best possible vision and eye health. With a special interest in children’s vision and dry eye management, Majd takes the time to provide thorough, tailored care for every patient—whether it’s a child struggling with focus in the classroom or an adult seeking relief from chronic dryness and discomfort.
Majd combines his compassionate approach with a commitment to using the latest diagnostic and treatment technology, ensuring patients receive precise, evidence-based care. He believes that investing in state-of-the-art equipment and continuous professional development is key to protecting one of our most vital senses—sight.

Personal Experience
Majd’s passion for optometry ignited during his early years in a bustling Craigieburn practice, where he witnessed children struggling with undetected vision issues that impacted their learning and adults battling chronic dry eye discomfort. Motivated to make a difference, he founded Aston Eyes in January 2026, outfitting it with state-of-the-art equipment like advanced topography and IPL therapy to provide the accessible, compassionate care he knew was missing. Today, he pours his energy into each patient’s story, transforming vision challenges into lasting clarity and confidence.
